CAGT’s 2025 Legislative Day is now over.
Our annual Legislative Day at the Capitol has come and gone, and was a fantastic event! Students had the unique and informative opportunity to spend a day at the Capitol shadowing a Colorado legislator on the Senate or House floor, attending committee meetings and having lunch with them and their aide(s). This event was amazing and impactful as usual! Our Legislative Committee worked hard to create a one of a kind experience for 9th-12th grade students who are passionate about issues facing their community, county, and our state and to experience the legislative process firsthand – it did not disappointment!
