We’re thrilled to announce the return of CAGT Family Institute!
New and refreshed based on your feedback, we’re bringing high-quality live presentations to local communities across Colorado.
CAGT Family Institute is designed specifically for parents, guardians, grandparents and any adult caregiver who plays an integral role in raising their gifted children. During the event, our presenters will share their expertise about how to support the unique academic and social-emotional needs of these children when at home.
Our first CAGT Family Institute event, co-hosted by our affiliates, Boulder Valley Gifted & Talented (BVGT) and Adams 12 GT Parent Group (A12GTPG), features nationally-renowned gifted education expert Emily Kircher-Morris! Emily has a highly-successful Neurodiversity Podcast and was a CAGT Conference keynote speaker. She’s coming back to Colorado. You won’t want to miss what she has to say! In her Family Institute presentation, “The Parenting Handbook,” Emily will provide parents and caregivers with neurodiversity-affirming strategies to nurture their gifted children to become independent, confident, successful young adults.
The event happens on Monday, May 6th from 5:00 to 6:30pm at Legacy High School in Broomfield, CO.
